Bid Protest Webinar Series - Your Required Debriefing: The Latest on Protests and Procurement

Date: Wednesday, January 22, 2020 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

On January 22, 2020, Jay Carey, Kayleigh Scalzo, and Peter Terenzio will host the next installment of Your Required Debriefing, the Covington Government Contracts practice’s Bid Protest Webinar Series. Among other topics, they will cover the following:

  • Protests of Other Transaction Agreements: DoD and other agencies are using OTAs much more frequently, and for acquisitions that are often of strategic importance for contractors. When, and where, can you protest the award of an OTA? We’ll bring you up to date on significant recent developments.
  • Proposal Pitfalls: Your proposal team is focused on writing the strongest possible substantive proposal. Yet there are many procedural rules, some arcane, that can create significant risk — risk that the agency will downgrade your proposal and make award to someone else, and risk that an award to you could be successfully protested. We’ll talk through some pitfalls that we see on the front lines, so you can help your proposal teams avoid them.
