As explained in this advisory to our clients, if past history is any guide, Congress, the Department of Justice, and other agencies are likely to turn their attention to investigating the ways in which corporations and their leadership respond to the pandemic and handle funds provided as part of the $2 trillion federal relief effort.

On this briefing call, a panel of lawyers with extensive experience in similar investigations will highlight what's likely to happen and the ways companies can prepare themselves now. In addition to Covington lawyers, the call will include Paul Atkins, CEO of Patomak Global Partners and a former member of the Congressional Oversight Panel for TARP, the model for the new "Congressional Oversight Commission" created by Congress as part of CARES Act pandemic relief legislation.
