Meet Covington's Cybersecurity Practice

Boards and CEOs at companies of all sizes operating around the world list cybersecurity as one of the top concerns keeping them up at night. Cyber threats are in the news on a daily basis and we hear about data breaches all the time. But our practice often helps clients respond to cyber incidents that are much broader than data breaches; they range from small incidents involving stolen personal data to those that have huge reputational risk, disruption of business operations, and in some cases, can cause physical harm. Additionally, more and more clients have asked us to help scenario planning and testing of their own incident response plans and functions: we may write the scripts, facilitate the exercises, or even be tested as outside counsel.
There are also a number of other scenarios where we routinely help clients beyond incident response and preparedness. In this video, Ashden Fein and Trisha Anderson highlight a few of the other categories of work Covington supports in this area.
