Defense experts endorse protest process, but lament unintended consequences

March 3, 2016, InsideDefense.com

Jay Carey is quoted in this InsideDefense.com article focusing on the need for the bid protest process and its unintended consequences. Carey, backing the need for greater information throughout the whole process said, "If agencies can share more info in a debriefing, I think that will lower the protest rate." He also added that the government can improve the whole system by bolstering the acquisition workforce and focusing on procurement -- not the protest.
