Trade experts urge use of Section 301 to fight abusive competition laws

Deborah Garza spoke at an event hosted by the U.S. Chamber and is quoted in an Inside U.S. Trade article regarding recommendations included in the International Competition Policy Expert Group’s recent report. “I thought the Chamber was smart and our group was smart in recognizing that the best way to approach the issue though was through a combined one-two punch, competition policy and trade approach,” said Garza, who co-chairs the group.
