Covington’s Rechtin Appointed to Corporations Committee of the Business Law Section of California State Bar


SAN FRANCISCO, CA, August 4, 2008 — Covington & Burling LLP lawyer Ingrid Rechtin has been appointed as a member of the Corporations Committee of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of California.

Section Committee membership provides a unique opportunity to participate in the creation of practice area law. The Corporations Committee consists of 24 members appointed by the Business Law Section Executive Committee.

Ms. Rechtin practices in Covington’s San Francisco office. She focuses on public and private mergers and acquisitions, securities, finance, and general corporate matters. Ms. Rechtin received her J.D. from Harvard Law in 2003 and her B.A. from Stanford University in 2000. She was formerly resident in the firm’s New York office, and is admitted to practice in California and New York.
