Covington Receives Nature Conservancy’s Lifetime Achievement Volunteer Award


SAN FRANCISCO, CA, October 16, 2008 — Covington & Burling LLP was honored last night by The Nature Conservancy with a Lifetime Achievement Volunteer Award for 2008. The award, which recognizes Covington’s many years of pro bono legal services, was presented at the Conservancy’s 2008 Conservation Learning Exchange Conference in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The Nature Conservancy is a leading conservation organization working around the world to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people. Its Lifetime Achievement Award is given in recognition of especially dedicated service in achieving the Conservancy’s conservation objectives.

Covington has a strong commitment to public service.
