Fram and Haslam Again Named Top California IP Litigators


SAN FRANCISCO, CA, April 9, 2009 — For the second consecutive year, Covington & Burling LLP partners Robert Fram and Robert Haslam have been named to The San Francisco and Los Angeles Daily Journals’ list of Top 75 Intellectual Property Litigators in California. The list honors lawyers from both the public and private sectors whose work has a significant impact on the world of intellectual property and the development of law in this area.

Mr. Fram, resident in the firm’s San Francisco office, is co-chair of Covington’s IP Litigation Group and has substantial experience litigating patent, trade secret, and licensing cases. He represents clients in a range of high-tech industries, including software, computer and electronic, semiconductor, and others.

Mr. Haslam, resident in the firm’s Silicon Valley office, has long maintained a highly regarded trial practice focused on patent and trade secret and other related high technology disputes. He has represented clients in litigation involving a range of arts and practices, including semiconductor products and processes, cryptography, GPS and cellular technology, electronic circuits, microprocessors and software products, and medical devices and other life science products.
