SAN FRANCISCO, April 8, 2011The San Francisco and Los Angeles Daily Journals have named Covington & Burling LLP partners Rob Fram and Bob Haslam to their list of Top Intellectual Property Litigators in California for the fourth year in a row.

The list honors lawyers from both the public and private sectors whose work has a significant impact on the world of intellectual property and the development of law in this area.

One of Mr. Haslam’s key successes over the past year was to secure a preliminary injunction, after trial, for Huawei, a leading telecommunications company, in a high-profile trade secrets case against Motorola. Mr. Haslam’s additional cases over the past year have included significant matters for long-standing client Samsung. Mr. Haslam is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.

Mr. Fram, co-chair of Covington’s 100-lawyer patent litigation group, was singled out for leading several high-profile cases on behalf of Fujitsu, LendingTree and Samsung.

Covington’s IP group and its lawyers have been widely recognized by The Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA, Chambers Asia, Chambers Europe, Chambers Global, IP Law and Business, The Legal 500, and The Practical Law Company.
