Covington’s Lisa Peets Named as “Best in Copyright” at Women in Business Law Awards 2011


LONDON, 5 July 2011 — Covington & Burling is pleased to announce that Lisa Peets was named as “Best in Copyright” at Euromoney Legal Media Group’s inaugural Women in Business Law Awards 2011. Natalie Diep was also shortlisted in the “Best in M&A” category.

Covering 21 jurisdictions and 26 business areas, the Awards look to celebrate those firms setting the standard in terms of female-friendly work practices, and women leading the field in the legal sector across Europe.

Ms. Peets leads the firm’s European intellectual property group and divides her time between London and Brussels. Her practice embraces legislative advocacy, trade and IP enforcement.
