Mythili Raman Elected to Membership in the ALI

WASHINGTON, DC - Covington partner Mythili Raman has been elected as a member of The American Law Institute, the leading independent law reform organization dedicated to producing scholarly work that clarifies, modernizes, and improves the law.

Ms. Raman, a prominent criminal law practitioner, focuses her practice on white collar defense and government investigations, and represents corporate entities and executives in a wide range of criminal and regulatory investigations. Before joining Covington, Ms. Raman served for 18 years at the U.S. Department of Justice in a variety of roles during several Administrations, including most recently as Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division.

Founded in 1923, The American Law Institute is composed of eminent lawyers, judges, and academics who reflect the excellence and diversity of today's legal profession.
