Six Covington Lawyers Named Law360 MVPs

WASHINGTONLaw360 has named six Covington lawyers as MVPs in their respective practice areas. The awards single out lawyers from across various practice areas based on their “success in high-stakes litigation, complex global matters, and record-breaking deals.”

The Covington lawyers recognized as Law360 MVPs are:

  • Shara Aranoff, International Trade. Ms. Aranoff helps clients in technology, life sciences, and manufacturing use intellectual property and international trade enforcement tools to compete in U.S. and global markets. Law360 praised Ms. Aranoff’s successful representation of South32 at the International Trade Commission, which resulted in a negative injury ruling following an investigation of siliconmanganese, an alloy faced with tariffs over the past several years.

  • Jay Carey, Government Contracts. Mr. Carey has significant experience representing government contractors in bid protests before the U.S. Government Accountability Office and the Court of Federal Claims. He regularly represents clients in litigation with the government, counsels clients regarding a wide range of formation and compliance matters, and defends clients under investigation by federal and state governments. In its profile, Law360 described Mr. Carey as a “go-to lawyer” for major bid protests, and highlighted his lead role in UnitedHealth’s challenge to $58 billion in Tricare contracts.

Law360 praised Mr. Imbroscio’s impressive record of mass tort defense victories this year, including for Eli Lilly, Roche, Bayer, and others.

  • Derek Ludwin, Sports.
