Brian K. Fitzpatrick is a white collar and litigation associate in the firm’s Washington office. He advises clients on compliance issues arising under anti-corruption laws, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (“FCPA”). Mr. Fitzpatrick has conducted risk assessments and developed anti-corruption compliance programs for clients in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals technology, and personal care products. Mr. Fitzpatrick also helps corporations with efficient resolution of internal and government investigations into allegations of fraud and corruption.

  • Representation of a foreign tire manufacturer and its U.S. subsidiary in litigation arising out of a wrongful kickback scheme devised by former employees.
  • Obtained favorable settlement for a solar panel manufacturer accused of wrongfully terminating two former employees.

Pro Bono

  • Represented plaintiff in § 1983 action against police and prosecutors in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana arising out of wrongful conviction and alleged Brady violations.

Previous Experience

  • Secondment to chemical company client to provide Employment/HR Legal advice and to review the Company’s anti-corruption compliance program (May-September 2015).
