  • Secured summary judgment on behalf of George Mason University on sexual harassment and sex discrimination claims pending in federal district court.
  • Representation of UBS Financial Services, Inc. in putative class actions in federal district court involving claims of employment discrimination based on race.
  • Advice to Sodexo, Inc. on diversity best practices and programming in connection with oversight of consent decree entered in race discrimination class action.
  • Advice on federal and state employment law issues arising from $41 billion merger in the pharmaceutical industry.

Pro Bono

  • Trial counsel to individual charged with multiple counts of first-degree felony assault, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and concealing a deadly weapon. Secured acquittal on five of six charges, including felony assault charge.
  • Trial counsel to individual charged with second-degree murder and witness tampering in month-long jury trial in federal district court. Conviction overturned on appeal to the D.C. Circuit.
  • Favorably resolved suit filed in federal district court raising federal constitutional and state tort claims arising out of the improper use of force by a public school employee.
