Mike Lechliter is a partner practicing in the firm’s Insurance Coverage and Appellate practice groups, representing policyholders in complex coverage disputes. He has represented policyholders in federal and state courts involving a variety of underlying claims, including environmental, sports, cyber, asbestos, and first-party property claims. His work has helped his clients recover hundreds of millions of dollars in insurance proceeds.

Mr. Lechliter has extensive trial experience, and has successfully represented policyholders at trial for more than a decade. In addition, he has significant appellate experience, including in representing policyholders in response to insurer appeals. He also advises policyholders with claims resolution outside of litigation.

  • Representation of the National Football League in litigation regarding insurance coverage for concussion-related personal injury claims.
  • Representation of The Narragansett Electric Company in litigation regarding insurance coverage for environmental cleanup costs.
