Mace Rosenstein has been advising media and telecommunications companies on complex strategic, policy, legal, and regulatory matters for nearly 30 years. He has deep experience structuring and securing regulatory approvals for broadcast and telecommunications transactions and is a leader in the field on federal law and policy regarding foreign investment in U.S. media companies and on the FCC’s complex rules governing multiple and cross-ownership of media and telecommunications properties.

  • Represents Univision Communications Inc., the nation’s largest, multi-faceted media company serving U.S. Hispanics and multiculturals, in strategic, policy, and regulatory matters.
  • Represents 21st Century Fox, Inc., CBS Corporation, the Walt Disney Company, Tribune Media Company, and others in policy and regulatory matters before the FCC and in the federal courts.
  • Represented CBS, Scripps Networks Interactive, The Walt Disney Company, Time Warner, 21st Century Fox, Univision Communications, and Viacom before the FCC and the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals in their successful challenge of the FCC’s policies governing public disclosure of proprietary business information.
  • Represented a consortium of more than 40 media companies and public interest and civil rights organizations in securing liberalization of the FCC’s historical limitations on foreign investment in media companies.
  • Represented Altice S.A. in its acquisition of U.S. cable television, broadband, and telecommunications providers Cablevision Systems Inc. and Suddenlink, in separate transactions valued at nearly $30 billion.
