Molly Ramsden is an associate in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice Group. Ms. Ramsden helps employers of all sizes and industries maneuver the regulatory landscape of ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and various federal, state, and municipal employment laws. She counsels companies and individuals on all aspects of employee benefits, compensation, and employment issues, including tax-qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, executive employment and consulting agreements, and mergers and acquisitions.

  • Advise clients on tax treatment of health and welfare benefits and compliance with health reform, COBRA, and cafeteria plan rules.
  • Assist client in resolving an investigation by the U.S. Department of Labor concerning multiple employee benefits plans sponsored by the client.
  • Counsel clients on employee benefits, executive compensation, and employment issues in large corporate transactions.
  • Prepare submissions on behalf of clients under the Internal Revenue Service’s Voluntary Correction Program to fix any employee benefit plan errors and ensure the preservation of the employee benefit plan’s tax qualified status.
