Darcy Slayton is an associate in the Washington DC office. She is a member of the Election and Political Law Practice Group, representing and counseling corporate, political, and individual clients in matters before government agencies and Congress. She also advises companies, PACs, nonprofits, and individuals on compliance with federal and state campaign finance, election, and lobbying laws.

  • Assisting companies and individuals in responding to formal and informal inquiries from Congress and executive branch agencies for documents, information, and testimony.
  • Representing a leading technology company in an investigation by the House Committee on the Judiciary regarding competition in digital markets.
  • Representing large pharmaceutical companies in the drug pricing investigations of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, including preparing successive CEOs for oversight hearings.
  • Representing an individual in campaign finance enforcement investigation by the Federal Election Commission.
  • Advising corporate, political, and individual clients regarding:
    • Federal and state campaign finance laws and regulations;
    • Federal and state pay-to-play rules; and
    • Federal and state lobbying and ethics laws.
