Mollie Swears is a litigation associate in the firm’s New York office with a focus on complex litigation, including patent and trade secret litigation, and representation of individuals and organizations in internal investigations. She has experiencing representing clients at all stages of litigation in federal district courts.

Ms. Swears also has an active pro bono practice, including representation of a plaintiff in a federal civil rights lawsuit alleging a pattern and practice of constitutional violations. As part of this matter, Ms. Swears successfully argued both dispositive and discovery motions in federal court.

  • Currently representing brand-name pharmaceutical company in Hatch-Waxman litigation regarding methods of treatment for an antidepressant.
  • Currently representing brand-name pharmaceutical company in Hatch-Waxman litigation related to medication for liver disease.

Pro Bono

  • Representation of client in federal civil rights lawsuit alleging pattern and practice of constitutional violations of Brady v. Maryland that resulted in client’s wrongful imprisonment for over 23 years.
