Mr. Yingling played a lead role in the debates that culminated in the enactment of the Dodd-Frank Act, the most significant legislation relating to financial institutions in the past 50 years. Before becoming President and CEO of the ABA, he was in charge of the ABA's legislative, legal, regulatory, tax, and policy development activities for twenty years. Mr. Yingling also served as Executive Vice President of the International Monetary Conference (IMC) and continues to be a special advisor to the IMC.
